It was our last week and it passed fastly. on monday,we watched a movie(catch me if you can) with prep A.it was a good film which was recorded in my computer but I hadn't watched yet. in afternoon, we had a writing class, we read a short story ''eveline'' which is about importance of family. on tuesday,wednesday and thursday we hadn't lesson. on friday, we had speaking lesson. we listened 2 songs ,I liked them very much. when i came to my home, i listened them again and again :) that's all. this week and this year passed quickly. we 're getting older!!! :) I liked my new friends and my new teachers. I had wanted to go another cities when I entered the university exam, but now I am glad to stay at my hometown. Thank you my friends and teachers! I will miss you during the holiday. byeee!
on monday, we wrote group essay about internet shopping with selin and meryemana. I liked working with them. Thanks girls :)on tuesday we finished our grammar topics. on wednesday, I didn't come to school.on thursday, we talked about diary of Adam by Mark Twain. ıt was also good story I liked it. I think it was very funny :D then we went to seminar which rebecca permormed. on friday, we were free because rebecca didn't come again. That's all.
on monday, we learnt argumentative essay and mrs.Gültekin gave us a homework. on tuesday I didn't come to school. on wednesday, we showed our advertisements again and we did some comments on them. I think, everybody really endeavoured and they are very good. Congratulations everybody!!! on thursday I didn't come to school. on friday, we watched a movie ''The groundhog day''. It was a boring film, because it repeated and repeated same scenes. nevertheless,the movie gave us some messages about life. that's all. see u on monday or fiestta fest :)
This week passed very fast. Since, we went to school 3 times. On monday, we finished our topic about adolescence. On tuesday, we had grammar lesson, some of our friends had a presentation, we listened them. On wednesday, I didn't go to school. On thursday, we had a reading exam. I hope everybody had high marks. On monday, we wrote a group essay,but our groups were different from our previous groups. Mrs.Gültekin changed group members. then, zuhal, aysen and I wrote a cause and effect essay about effects of 17 August Eathquake on people. I think it was very beneficial for us, so we understood the topic. on tuesday we had grammar exam and it was very difficult.on wednesday we had a listening exam and it was hard,too. on thursday we talked about adolescence. It was good lesson for me.next, friday was official holiday thanks to Atatürk. Atatürk gave this day (23th april) to children :) that's all...
To be honest,waking up early on Monday was very difficult after our short holiday. I pressed myself, eventually I was able to manage to wake up :) It was very efficient and enjoyable week. Our reading lesson was very interesting. Our topic was globalization and cultural imperialism.I realised that I know nearly all slogans of products. I think it is very bad :S am I such a radio or a tv? disgusting!!! we memorize their slogan's unconsciously.then, we discussed about extinction of languages.When I was searching, I learned very interesting informations. Metin said some Circassian words and he said that he could understand Circassian speech. I said ''waow!'' in writing class I wrote a group essay with Tuba and Sema,but we have to improve ourselves because there were some deficiencies in our essay.In listening class we played truth or dare.I wish we continued english version... On Friday, we read a fairytale again.Rebecca took a break and we listened music and girls danced :D it was very funny :DDD next week we have exams again. good luck my friends. see u on monday...
I think this lesson was very interesting. Our unit was about fertility and babies. While we were learning that topic, I was shocked. I had never heard such as interesting stories before. I liked them. Then, Pelin,Fatma, Yaşar and Metin had a presentation about crime and punishment during the industrial revolution. Actually, I wasn't eager to listen them at first, because we had to go home lately because of their presentation. But,they started and I listened. I liked Jack :) their presentation was good and our lesson was finished.
On Monday, we started a new topic “crime and punishment”. Ms. Gülsen gave us a presentation.Our(I,Tuba,Sema and meryem's) topic was aboriginal tribal law. We tried to do a good presentation. We studied hard , we came together nearly every day. Unfortunately, while I was speaking, I forgot all my part so I read all the paper because of my excitement. I felt embarassment to my friends in the group.It learnt my lesson ,I will be less excited. Neverthless, I learnt so much information about aborigins.I like them and their dance.Then we wrote an essay as a group about marrying someone from another culture.on thursday an friday our teachers were absent. that's all. see u.
